Until I heard that bloke speak, I thought he was a genuine Scots-Irish hillbilly from east TN. Funny hearing that accent come out of him.

JP@indy_sooner

One other story I wanted to tell from getting to sit in the parents section last night.

Tate Sandell’s Parents were 2 rows behind us and when he made the first one we were all stoked.

By the end of the night we were grabbing his dad, fist bumping, jumping up and down, chanting MVP.

His dad was BEAMING with pride with for his son (especially after he had to put a UT fan to task for saying something disrespectful about the shorts) after each and every kick.

His mom was shedding tears. It is so obvious how much this means to them.

The Sandell Family is in Sooner Lore forevermore.

He maybe well on his way to winning a Lou Groza award!

Wait, I've read on tRANT many times that college football is dying 'cause portal, NIL. That crowd had to be created by AI!

When people lose interest it doesn't start with the important/big games.

The stadiums in the SEC just blow away everyone else. Hope you can make it to Kyle in '28, it's completely different from the last time OU came to visit.

I was kind of thinking “if you’re a Tennessee player that has to make you want to run through a brick wall.”

Problem is, it’s so good, it probably makes the other team feel the same way. Kind of like Jump Around at Camp Randall. One of the great scenes in the game. But watch the sidelines and you see it amps the visitors up just as much.

Meh
. Meh? That was a great atmosphere and exactly why I was thrilled to join this conference. No other conference can match the passion and excitement of football like the sec.
Both Texas and Oklahoma have work to do to catch up when it comes to game day experience.

OU stadium is loud as frick this year … what he saying is the lights show and the in game experience is lacking … Kiffen knows how loud it gets. He’s commented a couple times OU stadium is one of the toughest to play at . As a whole I haven’t heard one OU fan who said it wasn’t as good or better than everyone has said Neyland was … we had been there before but the light show added was top notch .

More importantly... I've heard from someone who met them at a game in Norman.... She is pretty "mom hot" as well.

Sorry I don't have pics.

Same person said that R Mason Thomas' mother looks like she just walked out of a Miss Universe pageant.

One thing I would like to add about the loudness of the stadium …. I don’t think Neyland is as loud as people think it is … the reason I say that is hey have speakers on the sidelines amplifying everything including crowd noise and band are amplified . They also dont play by the rules of playing music so late in snap …. The pregame was the best pregame anywhere at anytime … the rest is just speakers pumping music and crowd noise

I went to a game there and people were too friendly. One lady followed me around a parking lot with a bowl of fruit.

If the greatest spectacle you had ever seen was a Reservation Casino, I'm guessing Neyland would be pretty awesome.
