Since we’re (Sooners) about to join the SEC I asked my Aggie family members to introduce me to SEC Rant. Instead of a proper introduction about the rivalries, politics, etc. they said the best way is to show you so we made a bet. I hate to lose money to a few Aggies but it was worth the bet. The bet they proposed? Watch how quickly we can get the folks on SEC Rant to go after Texas and neglect the Sooners. Easy money for them, nothing but thread after thread on Texas with even a few of the Aggies posing as TX fans talking trash about the SEC and some of its members triggering even more responses. I find it amazing how easily TX is already living rent-free in some of your heads. Take it from us, don’t be an Aggie. Looking forward to seeing y’all in Norman.

And the reason why people are talking about Texas has nothing to do with athletics. Some people think Texas will try to take over the SEC politically, which we find funny because there is nothing holding SEC schools together except that we just do.

Nobody got us to go after Texas. We all just don't like them. Most of us don't have a ton against Oklahoma, but I suspect we all will when you guys start getting here.

I have no doubt they’ll try, but this conference isn’t populated with indifferent fanbases like the Big 12. They got away with much of what they did because no one else really cared except for OU and they left them alone for the most part. The only team they’ll bully in the SEC is limp wristed A&M.
