Yes, because Bama is the best offense we will face this year and our defense will be healthy come Dec 28th. The era of shutdown defenses is basically over unless you have 4 bonified first round draft picks on the defensive line. I do not care if LSU gives up 1000 yards in the game as long as they give up less points than the other team. Something this defense has done very well for 9 games.

Here we go again with excuses, turnovers and playing like sh$$t was a result of LSU and it’s part of the game and if we kept playing would of scored 100, so just suck it up and deal with it

Since you asked what we think I’ll tell you what I think about our defense. While it’s given up a ton more yards and points than expected from an Aranda coached LSU defense they have stepped up EVERY time they’ve had to ALL season. Yes they’ve made me nervous a couple of times but in reality no team has really been a threat to win. Scores are a very poor indication of how LSU has played this season. So YES, I do believe LSU can and will win a championship.

Seems to have been adequate for each of our four top 25 wins.. Bama btw has zero. Ohiomstate has two. Clemson has none. Georgia has two.

Almost 150 of Bamas yards came on 2 plays.
One a fake audible that caught LSUs entire defense looking at the sideline.
The second basically a Hail Mary on a terrible defensive call by Aranda.
