Aggies need to move to the PAC 2, making it the PAC 3. They could finally win a conference championship.

You are embarrassed over the hurt A&M put on you and you don't want any more.

We have Texas now for the Texas eyeballs. Don't need aggy anymore. It's time to boot you out.

Aggies were only let in so that the SEC could have a footprint in Texas. Now that the real university in Texas is joining, A&M is clearly expendable.

Just some dogshit Aggy fans who think we care about the program's ability to burn piles of money at an incredible pace.

I know some say we need a private University because of their ability to work in private while public schools have to report this.

WTF does even mean? Do people not think through things before repeating them?

I'm hoping this post was made in jest. Rough patches in football but we hold our own and more in every other sport.

It means if Auburn would like to take care of some business without having to disclose it, then they let Vanderbilt handle it for them.

That is not what I think, that is how people who believe it, tell it.

It is a common belief among many in the SEC. It has been discussed here before.

This thread is delivering. Cat fights among fans of the same team. Normal mouth breathers trying to make this about Texas A&M. "Charter" members claiming they have more say despite Clemson and FSU coming in much to their dislike.

It's got it all. Keep it up OP

Y'all, leave aTm alone. I like them in the SEC; they fit.. I remember some great early season Tiger/Aggie games far back as the 1960s. I don’t get all the hate for A&M.

Clearly you don't understands how/why the SEC and every conference pays members. Eyeballs on the TVs- TV contracts is 98% of the revenue. Some of you... good lord.

By that logic shirk it down to 4 schools and just schedule marquee games for TV purposes. Say Bama Auburn Tennessee and Florida would be the SEC (used for fanbases, helmet, stadium, marketability). Those four split the TV deal and play made for TV matchups against other 4 school associations every week. Say it’s Penn St, Notre Dame, tOSU, Michigan one week, LSU, Ole Miss, Miss St and Tulane the next week, Texas, TAMU, OK, and OK St the next week.

Just pure matchups made for TV.

Now that the flagship of Texas is joining, there's not much point in keeping the consolation prize around. Bye.

If you think A&M doesn’t fit, wait till Texas joins. They are the antithesis of all things southern and would feel more at home in a conference with Berkeley and USC.

plus the fan base just doesn’t have that SEC feel.

You’re right, we don’t live in trailer homes like all of LSwho fans do!!

They're still not over last season's arse-kicking.
