No we had recruiting violations under Kiffin. Frank Wilson and Coach O were the recruiters on the Tennessee staff. Kiffin hired good recruiters and did little of it himself. That's always been his style, as is the case with most offensive-minded coaches. Its the exact same way Heupel operates at Tennessee

As an Ole Miss fan I’ll honestly be shocked if Lane isn’t locked in for the game in sept. He’s had this game circled since he falsified reports he was run off the road in Oxford. That being said I fully expect him to drop Tenn game, Texas Am, Alabama, Texas, and a shocker toss up between Miss state/kentucky/arkansas.

I don’t think anyone is saying Ole Miss can’t beat LSU. The topic is whether or not Frank Wilson is going to poach a lot of instate talent LSU is after. Early on that isn’t the case but i guess is possible if Lane is a bust and loses early and often

I didn’t see it as a melt either. If anything, he pointed out the issue Ole Miss has always had when you compare Ole Miss vs LSU recruiting. LSU has never had an issue getting 5 stars.

Before Lane has even coached 1 down at LSU he has already signed 5 - 5 stars out HS. He did that once his entire time at OM. Hell yeah we are different, and the webels hate that its being proven already

Frank Wilson has to be the most over hyped recruiter in LSU history. He never helped us win a championship. He is loved in NOLA but hated around the state by HS coaches. Ole Miss may pick up a NOLA kid here and there with Frank but LSU will take what they want generally speaking.
