You A&M fans are so dumb. Yes saban has been getting players paid for his entire career. Guess where Jimbo learned it from?

A&M did pay the players in the 2022 signing class. It’s kind of strange that Jimbo is going so hard against this. If he just would have left it alone it wouldn’t be a thing.

I guess when you are connected to a great school, in a great location, in a recruiting hotbed, with a hugely supportive student body and alums, with great traditions, you don't have to do some of the stuff you have to do when your schools are located in shitholes.

And with that, I'll leave you all to spew your ignorant nonsense the rest of the thread...

Your post was debunked and now you're gonna coward out like your coach did vs WF. Typical 39er.

Make sure I understand the OPs point:

Sabin clearly recruits in ways that aren’t likely legal and leave him placed in the top 3 every year….regardless of where he coaches.

Jimbo learned this from him and does it also.

Did I miss anything?

Venture outside the SEC rant. Saban is getting all the heat nationally. Saban tried to back track, didn’t help.

I’m not seeing any thing being made about Jimbo, just the rant doing it’s normal BS. That they would still be doing no matter Jimbo’s response.

Let me sum it up for you.

Since 1957, when we took the 2nd greatest coach in the game away from you

National titles

8&4feit - 0
Bama - 13

If you want to talk about since joining the SEC zero is a interesting number for 8&4feit.

As in zero SEC championship game appearances. Something you share with Vanderbilt.

I doubt much of the PAC if any cheats much lately. Perhaps USC back in its golden era, but Stanford has been fairly successful and I just don't see them paying players. The draw there is a person with their degree wipes their arse with degrees from universities like LSU in the job market. :)

Anyone with a degree from Stanford wipes their arse with a degree from pretty much anywhere else. Your little cow patty college included. Yall really need to start trying to bring yourselves down a couple of pegs.

Boy you Aggies are sure stirred up. I love it. Let the hate spew through you. A big part of SEC comradeship is agreeing to “frick Bama”.

It’s basically the SEC’s version of horns down. Don’t get me wrong, once UT joins we will all enjoy that as well.

Bruh nobody and I mean nobody thinks this highly of your little school but ya'll. You are the laughing stock of the SEC, hell even Mizzou is laughing and why...because they have won the SEC East TWICE and actually done something of note since joining, unlike yall. The only reason anyone is even talking about aTm is because of NIL stuff, not how great your team or school is

In the 4 Bama years prior to Saban, Bama was 26-24 with only ONE winning season. Their records were 4-9, 6-6, 10-2, 6-7 Their recruiting rankings were 15, 18, 11, and 10.

Sanctions, people seem to not remember the horrific sanctions. Mike Shula would never have been coach (or Franchione for that matter) and 26-24 would not have been the record if not for a penalty that took our program 7 years to recover from.

In his first full year of recruiting, they finished 7-6, but they recruited the #1 class. followed by another #1, and then another.... etc...

Yes, Bama has always recruited well. It's one of the two or three TRUE bluebloods in the sport

In the 4 A&M years prior to Fisher, A&M was 31-21, with 4 winning seasons- records of 8-5, 8-5, 8-5, 7-6. Their recruiting rankings were 10, 17, 10, and 16.

Jimbo's recruiting was then ranked 6, 6, 7, and 1. Not an unusual progression at all, especially given his 2020 results, and beating Bama in a year full of injuries.

Its A&M. Getting the best class ever in the history of recruiting ranking raises eyebrows anyway but it coincided with NIL

You look at Saban's LSU history- almost same thing. 2001 in his first full recruiting year, LSU class was rated anywhere from 1 to 3, then 15 (due to only 19 recruits), then 1, then 2.

As soon as he left, LSU's classes were 22, 7, 4, 11, 2, 6, 6, 18, 6, 2, 2, 8, 5, 8.... Very good, but not top 1 or 2 in the nation 3 out of 4 years.

Yes, Saban is a great recruiter who got LA talent to stay in LA. Something Stovall, Arnsparger, Archer and DiNardo had a hard time doing. Also, Saban upped the facilities and created the TAF fund which directly fed into recruitng and its budget which was mid tier SEC at the time.

Fact is, Jimbo knows about Saban, and it finally boiled over when Saban called out A&M for cheating. Saban is a sleazy recruiter, and has been for most of the past two decades.

All good recruiters are sleazy. This is not about that. this is about enticing kids through NIL to attend a school which is illegal. The only comeback you have is well Saban has been cheating for years. We're talking about NIL rules and A&M here.

Idiot: Bama was under sanctions and scholarship reductions during that time. They just got their full compliment back when Saban came aboard.
