People are sleeping on Florida. I think Napier is cooking something...slowly but surely.

So according to OP, if Bama, Georgia, Florida or LSU don't come back - the SEC is not rescued.
You people just don't get it yet.

Texas will be the leader for now, as long as Sark is there.
Texas strength is defense - and Sark barely knows defense exists.

Bama is cooked. UGA will be good, can't count them out. Florida actually seems to be on the right track, but still not a contender. LSU should be a contender and is kind of in an all in position. Texas looks like they are here to stay. Wish we could see Ole Miss in the playoff this year, they would probably be winning some games.
UGA-Texas-LSU are the saviors

The only thing we can be sure of is definitely not LSU/BK

Actually, you freaking idiot, LSU averages a National Championship appearance every 5-6 years since 2000….so it’s about that time.
There actually was a 5 year/season pattern since 2000 with LSU and Championships since 2000:
2000 - 2004 - The 2003 team finished #1 in the coaches poll (HC Saban)
2005 - 2009 - The 2007 team won the BCS Championship (HC Miles)
2010 - 2014 - The 2011 team won the BCS Championship (HC Miles)
2015 - 2019 - The 2019 team won the CFP Championship (HC Orgeron)
2020 - 2024 - Not a single top 10 finish (2 seasons Orgeron, 3 seasons Kelly)
It looks like the 5-year pattern ended with Orgeron's 2019 team.

UGA is a nope, we're losing our 2-3 best pass rushers, rolling out a new QB & at least 3 of 5 new OL. Hopefully a new OL coach too.

alabama lost 24 players to the transfer portal and have one of the toughest schedules in the country next season. They’re going the opposite direction.
Alabama always plays one of the toughest schedules in the country, and people like you use to get pissed about the turnover at Alabama.

The sure fires are Georgia, Bama, and Texas cause of the past recruiting, the teams I think will rise to the top to join the other 3 are Auburn and Florida.

The obvious answer is Texas.
They are loaded and have a Manning coming in at QB.

I don’t really count the 2020 season for obvious reasons…so I’m expecting an extremely strong season next year…according to the data

You literally said "since 2000".
Ok...looking at the trends since 2001...let's look at AP top 10 finishes:
2001 - 2005 - 3 ('01, 03, 05)
2006 - 2010 - 3 (06, 07, 10)
2011 - 2015 - 1 (11)
2016 - 2020 - 2 (18, 19)
2021 - pres - 0
Even if they just get a top 10 finish next year...it will still tie the worst stretch they've had since the 2001 season.
