Honestly as dick of a move as what Schloss did appears on the surface, I think it may be no more complicated than he and Del Conte have a great relationship and the Texas job finally opened up. The timing could not have sucked more for A&M but I can see why Schloss would want to work with Del Conte again and story is he was getting frustrated with Trev Alberts as he did with Del Conte's replacement at TCU.
While all of that may well be true, frick Texas. Horns Down, forever. You and your land-thieving accomplices will never run this conference.

I like UTk just because it aggravates some of them.
Utx doesn't seem to have the same effect.
That said, USC vs USCe taught us that longevity as a state or even institution don't matter as much as brand recognition and trademarks.
Utx is the bigger brand by far.

Tennessee can have it. We’re Texas. Longhorn fans and alums don’t refer to themselves as UT in a sports capacity. If you hear Texas referred to as UT it’s usually by academics.
