This. They are good player no doubt, but ones our coaches played a certain value on. LSU thinks they are worth twice what we did. Maybe lsu is right, or maybe lsu got someone to pony up extra money just to satisfy his ego to say he got a couple over on ole miss. We'll see.

We had a great season. We are having an excellent portal class. Is there some reason that you think we need to bring out the torches and pitchforks against the best AD in the country?

Exactly. PU is a good player I wish we had but to pay him the kind of money LSU is is just stupid. He better lead the nation in sacks and be a top 10 pick in the draft with that kind of investment

They could've at least beaten Miami. Then Ole Miss would no longer have the distinction of never ever playing in a football championship game (yet Miss St has).

Miami was the better team - they were favored and had big trench advantages that Ole Miss was forced to scheme around.
Miami outplayed Indiana too (post-game win expectancy says so).

Loyalty isn’t the issue anywhere. You think Lacy stayed at OM because of “loyalty”. No, your collective got terrified of him coming to BR and ponied up the money to keep him. And kudos to them doing that. Nobody is picking any team anymore because of “loyalty”
