My question is how do you justify Miami in between them. Weird.

I think Miami between us to signify that UGA would have to get boat raced by Texas to fall out of the playoffs. If they do I think Ole Miss jumps Miami and UGA

This is so funny and so mean. lol.
I cannot believe a single USCe fan thought they had a shot. You guys must have bought into the TV pundits doing their job the last 2 days. Their job(like the committees job) is to draw the most eyeballs they can. So, they found a way to come up with a hair brained reason a team who lost to Ole Miss and Alabama to jump both of them. lol

The only thing that was said definitively was that the order of the teams not playing CCGs wouldn't change next week. Their ranking may change, but not the order as there "isn't another data point." Which that is BS, as it's another SoS data point at the end of the day.

gotta be allowed to compete in order to win -

Bama don't have one of these like Carolina does -

Losing to Kentucky at home is a worse loss than losing at Vandy or OU.

LSU. Both Ole Miss and Alabama played at LSU. Ole Miss lost. Alabama won 42-13.

Alabama’s strength of schedule is 17, Ole Miss’ is 31.

Alabama’s strength of record is 10, Ole Miss’ is 18.

That is why.

Ole Miss is punished for losing to terrible Kentucky and Florida teams, but Bama isn’t punished for losing to Oklahoma and Vandy.

Ole Miss even had a more impressive win vs Georgia than Bama did

LSU fan here so not in any way biased towards Bama or Ole Miss.

Bama has wins over 10-2 UG, 9-3 MIZZOU, 9-3 SCAR and 8-4 LSU, the last 3 of which all went 5-3 in the SEC.

Ole Miss beat 2 of those 4 (UGA and SCAR) but lost to the 2nd to last place team in the league at home 1-7 in the SEC and 4-8 overall (UK).

3 of 5 Ole Miss wins were against Arkansas (3-5 SEC play/ 6-6 overall) along with Miss State 0-8 SEC and 2-10 overall and 6-6 OU (2-6 in League Play).

Objectively, Bama has the better resume.

Top 25 wins
Bama-3
Ole Miss-2

And the fact that Bama is Bama. That should be enough to get the benefit of the doubt. You don’t have to like it, but you better get used to it
