He should have called timeout.

He didn't even have to do that. Tua gave him about 30 seconds to throw the red flag.

But it shouldn't have even come to that. The replay booth should have buzzed down. We've all been to football games where they replay some of the silliest things...but they don't replay that??

Does anyone here really believe that if that was a State RB that fumbled, they wouldn't have reviewed it?

So, instead of just admitting that your coach could have taken the simple measures to review the play, and easily change the call, you choose to just bitch about the refs? That is the definition of playing a victim. Not a good look.

Do you always just talk out of your arse? Can you not find two functioning brain cells to rub together before posting?

It's over your head but a president plays politics and has nowhere near the power of the commissioner.

If it worked the way you want to claim then Bama wouldn't be "coincidentally" having all the things going their way or survived all the scandals of the Saban era. 13 other fans of other schools wouldn't have agreed it was OK for Bama to pay 2 players with no real punishment.

I don't want to hear about what happened last week, or in the Mizzou game. We're talking about the game yesterday

Bama gets almost all of the officiating breaks, and it's been that way for years.

You keep tripping yourself up, bud. You should take a few minutes, collect yourself, and come back with a more consistent argument.

Why wouldn’t states coaches have challenged it?

Well that’s the question because Moorehead claims his guys saw it and said he was down. You’d have to see it but it was an awkward tackle and it looked like his ankle was on the ground before his knee hit. I don’t know if that’s what they’re referring to or not

That was my point exactly...that the smart Auburn fan has no problem whatsoever with letting the second best ref in the league continue to work, but you do. It was obviously waaaaay over your head.
It's not over my head that you want a Bama grad to keep being an SEC official and called another Auburn fan smart because you agree with him and call everyone who doesn't stupid. Even if he doesn't show as much bias it doesn't mean he doesn't favor Bama or wouldn't if a game Bama needed really bad some year.

They're his fricking bosses. You're just embarrassing yourself...as usual.

Are you Stan White IRL? He’s the only adult male I’ve ever known of to whine, cry, and complain as much as you do.

It’s terribly undignifying. Have some respect for yourself.

That's not the point. If it was 3 seconds, throw the flag and stop the play. They didn't. They didn't throw the flag during the play at all. They held it until a TD...

That is a huge issue to try to even defend. When coupled with the fumble and the huge flag before hand, it is even more suspect.

It makes it appear that had the pass been incomplete no flag would have been thrown and the result is loss of down.

No they didn't. You can hear whistles as the play is going. You don't see the flag because it's behind the play.

Yes, they did.
