Going to Orlando for New Years, all expenses paid, plus money toward your school, sounds like a pretty good gig.

Its good practice for your up and coming players so hopefully you can retain some of them.

Bad look for Notre Dame to reject this.

They should take note of what happened to FSU.

It is. The conniption fit FSU had obviously destroyed the program.

I’d argue opting out and pulling a UCF, hanging the banners and all, would have done less harm to FSU than the beat down UGA put on them.

This Dawg is correct. That bowl game might the the game that a kid comes into his own, or you figure out somebody "aint the guy," or maybe it becomes a momentum launching point that carries the team into the next season like a raging bull.

Ultimately, football is a combat sport. You want to teach your boys to fight, and be hard, not to be pussies and worry about muh injuries, or muh NIL check or whatever.

Just think… when Texas beats Michigan and Bama loses to OU, they’ll both close out their seasons with ten wins

Don't worry, he's probably in Collie Station as we speak trying to figure out exactly how he wants to decorate his overalls. Of course he sucks and ya'll don't want him, but he's at least better than your current backup. Arch has always dreamed of being backup QB at Pyle field, so enjoy!

There’s no way we would ever subject our program to the shite show that is the manning media machine. No way. It won’t ever happen. Even if they wanted to come. Which they won’t. We wouldn’t be interested.

Indeed, and why would you be? One of these years, Marcel's gonna score a touchdown against Texas! Keep the faith

Hate to break it to you man, but Bama is not losing to OU. We both have problems, but ours are fixable.

in the overall scheme of things aren't they all kind of meaningless?

Historically, most bowl games have always been meaningless by definition.

But Texas has a matchup with a Michigan, best go kick arse.

Hmm thats the 3rd game in a row you've said that. You didn't score a touchdown last year and OU defense turned you over 3 times this year. Never going to learn,

Michigan beat Alabama in a bowl game last season, so who knows?

and it really wasn't very close. Funny how teams play a bit harder when motivated.

We should give Michigan honorary membership to SEC.

1 year ago:

Played tx early season
Played Bama bowl game

This year:

Played OU early season
Play tx bowl game
