Under the circumstances LSU had every reason to tank the season, but they haven't. I think LSU played extremely well coming off the loss to BAMA. They didn't let BAMA beat them twice.
At mid season, no one would have expected LSU in the Sugar Bowl.

If LSU wins out (and I think they will) they certainly deserve it. They lost early to Wisc by 1 play & AU by 1 play. Offense was their problem then and it has improved. Defense is for real.
