so let me get this straight. hiring art briles is the same as condoning rape

And any school that does that in the next 100 years should have their football stadium burned to the ground. BUT, hiring his son Kendall briles who most likely knew every single detail art did and was perfectly OK with it, and most likely has the same ideals and belief as art, like most sons do, is A-okay and a hot commodity throughout the sec.

There are many rational LSU fans who want nothing to do with either, but especially the dad. Don't judge an entire fan base by what you read on the internet. As for the rest of the League, I would presume that same applies.

I think that's a pretty big leap, but with the investigation ongoing it would be a huge PR risk for any big school to Hire Art Briles right now. His son doesn't come with the same public backlash. Right or wrong, it is what it is

Sadly that is what College football is atm. Win at all costs. For whatever reason, his son gets a much bigger pass. Someone is going to hire him.

Schools don't avoid coaches for what they actually did.. they avoid them for the negative consequences it could bring that would effect their program.

Yeah. That is how this works.
I mean Art never raped a girl, or even "gave the go ahead." He was simply the multimillion dollar CEO who didn't run a tight enough ship which allowed terrible things to happen. In most industries the buck stops with the CEO, which is why coaches (and some CEOs) are paid millions.
Meanwhile we have no concrete evidence to pin on his son. Hell his son could have been the one who pretended to do a Title IX investigation like the PH report talked about, but we will never know. Since he wasn't the CEO the buck doesn't stop with him.
It is a pretty simple concept. What matters is what you can prove and who we as a society by default blame.

Exactly I just don't get why on here, where it's anonymous anyway, people shite on art so hard, but then suck of kendall. If you were truly appalled by what happened there, you shouldn't want anything to do with kendall. But if you really didn't give a frick, you just didn't want the public backlash, why shite on art when it's anonymous?
