Most picked Georgia (including me in my non flaming posts) to win the East.
Many predicted 10-2 for South Carolina, and with a history like ours, that's great. But we are 35 points better than UGA.
I'm glad your season was so much more meaningful than ours. Enjoy the Cap One bowl.

That's the difference, my friend. No UGA fan thinks this season was any more remarkable than any other good season once the team lost to Bama. USCe hung a banner for an 11 win season.

Given our history, I'm perfectly fine with that.

i feel our two collective fan bases are arguing the same shite over and over. i hate south carolina, their fans, etc but i just can't get into the hating mood if we always just say the same shite.

I don't doubt his talent, but just watching the game, I'm pretty sure we tried to go 1 on 1 vs. him the entire game. Dude is a beast and will require a double team to shut down on pass pro and running the ball right at him would slow down the rush as well. There are ways to outscheme individuals.

Sorry, did I claim you were? Last time I checked, favored to win is worth about as much as a handful of poop... the spread would be likely 3.5 or less...

Not worried about UGA's defense, recruiting is going well, plenty of big physical players already here, will stay stacked.
The only thing that keeps coming up in this topic that confuses me is the Vanderbilt thing... they made a bowl game so they are a good team now? I only watched the game they played against UGA and lost 48-3. Did they beat someone they weren't supposed to? Why is everyone high on Vanderbilt?

Are we better with him? Undoubtedly. Who wouldn't be? But people seem to forget that we are 8-1 sans Lattimore in the last couple of years. If there is such thing as a silver lining that can be associated with Lattimore's injuries the last couple of years it made me realize that our team is in fact good enough to win without him. Which could not be said his Freshman year.
