It was clearly done purposefully

And just to add, it wouldn't be the first time in the SEC that a team has tried to slow another better team down with unusual field conditions.
It has just been a really long time since anyone went so bush league

No the players didn't say it was wet. They said it as slippery.
Never saw any water spray when players being tackled slid across the field.
The ref skipped on a tarp or cover of some kind.
The field, looked dry and like shite I will give you that, but not wet.
We will call this IB "Ice Capades by Henry"

The more I read these comments I think of the king if the hill episode where Hank and crew took over field maintainence.

Something's looked shitty on the field I've noticed but it doesn't make since to me they'd be doing it on porpoise because a wet field is always an advantage to a running team. If that was they're plan to stop the Hfrontfunner the. It wasn't a good one.

Well do you guys have WRs or a QB that can pass? No? Okay then.
Do we have a RB that has long legs and tends to cash in on the big play? Yes? Okay then.

The field was in terrible condition. Maybe Harvey visited?

Maybe, if AU wasn't paying all those former coaches, they the could afford a proper field crew.

It looks better for Gus if Bama doesn't boatrace the Tigers at home. He didn't want to go out like Tubs and Chiz. Even if the shitty field hurts his offense too, a lower scoring game looks better for Gustav.

ITT Bama fans are demand explanations on why auburns fields were both slipping wet and parched dry

So Auburn fans are fat fricking ****s?
Yes they soaked the field. Are you gonna tell me they didnt?

oh, so your field is always this shitty?
Why is the field so shitty, pig frickers?

I'm not saying it was wet, but that field was straight dog shite.
UT no longer has the worst field in the SEC.

Look at all these whiny bitches. You would think they lost the game.

That would play right into bama's hands and make zero sense. bama had to come up with a reason they couldn't put Auburn away until Ritter's boys took over.

I don't think it's that big of a deal. Teams have done it forever. Expect crazy crap when on the road.
