I mean the AD outright said that Arky NiL is behind Ole Miss, and would require tens of thousands of fan paying their phone bill's worth of money to catch up to them let alone the big dogs in the conference.

This is why we're in between a rock and a hard place. The administration blames the fans for lack of NIL because we can't get better players and win games, but the fans want to see Pittman win games first before getting on board with donating toward NIL because they have no faith in him. Both sides are pointing at the other and nothing ever gets done about it.

Now we're losing Luke Hasz after just losing one of our best OL yesterday to the portal.

Afraid we might get stock with another Chad Morris. Pittman has us respectable. For some including myself that might be enought. Take out Beliemas one good year and we were a mess for 8 yrs post Petrino.

Pitt puts a good team on the field but we play alot of gooder teams.

They are not going to fire him and not have his replacement ready. So they will hold off until they get who they are looking for.

I still love Sam Pittman and don't care what you and others think cause appearances don't matter and only to losers like you. In fact, I hope you die!

Using Chad Morris as the measuring stick has to stop at some point. There's a certain contingency of MFs that will be saying "well, don't forget how bad Chad Morris was" as an excuse to avoid a coaching search in 2045.

Nope. Broyles & his ‘64 team are the reason. Broyles was a .500 coach when he retired. After Holtz, it seemed Broyles, Jones were the only happy people. Making sure they were never overshadowed.

His contract has a one year extension clause for seasons with 7 or more wins and that includes bowl wins.

Broyles had his faults but he is reason Arkansas has had any history in football. Before he arrived, Arkansas had more losing seasons than all the teams in the SWC. Arkansas would would be another Kansas if didn't come or left for better programs.

I would take a zombie Broyles over the whiner we have as AD.

Part of the problem is you fire him and you have to replace him with somebody.

Who is that coach that seems like a slam dunk replacement?

There are no slam dunks in hiring football coaches. That said, Arkansas fans, why wouldn't you want Barry Odom for HC?

Another year. They're cheap. They could can him right now and eat less than 12 million, but they'd rather risk it and see 40,000 people in Arkansas by mid season next season.

So if he wins the Birmingham bowl he gets an extension?

He would have lost 20 games in the last three years and earned two contract extensions, for that. He has a losing record in that span. His agent did a number on Arkansas.

Yes.

If he lost the bowl the game then he would be just only the second head coach since the 50s to survive back to back losing seasons.

Danny Ford won the West and was fired two seasons later.

He just called me, he wants his job back.

If Ole Miss can get their football program competitive in this day and age of NIL, so can Arkansas.
