So Arkansas fans, how long is your team going to roll with Pittman? I figured he would be

I don't get why they kept him...what's the goal? A championship? Perpetual 7-5/8-4 seasons? If the former, you've gotta get rid of him. If the latter, than maybe you can keep him...maybe.

I guess the feeling was that Petrino would improve them

I kinda wish we'd kept Petrino. He did really well (relatively speaking, compared to Jimbo) with the talent we had last year, which is pretty much the talent we had this year.

Klein's been a little bit of a disappointment. Not terrible, but underperformed imo.

I don't think Sheridan is good enough for Alabama, though he had a shitty qb to work with this season. I hope DeBoer tries somebody else, but at 9-3 with Milroe, and hopefullly another qb next season, I don't expect it.

It seems the atheletic department is all in on basketball and baseball and just cashing checks in football. I dont like it but in reality the ROI probably isnt there. Could probably spend another 10 mill on football and go to a slightly less shitty bowl.

outside looking in, there seems to be a real apathy around the program from the AD which kinda odd and a little sad given the passion of the fanbase toward it.

I agree. Arkansas fans are arguably the most loyal fans in the country (except for Kansas fans pre-Leipold), and the school isn't reciprocating.

I think there's already a buyout in place. I think he coaches the bowl game and "retires" at his own will per se'. He just had hip surgery and from what I've heard his family wants him to step down also.

There's pressure on Yurachek now to improve or get out.

Which is weird, because Arkansas can have a very good football program. The fans are or can be passionate about it.

He did.

Without Petrino as the OC this year, Arkansas would go 3-9.

Spend $12 million more and go 8-4.

Hunter Yuracheck isn't the salesman that Frank Broyles was.

If Frank was alive, Arkansas would be in much better shape with NIL.

Once Frank died in 2017 that was the beginning of the end and when football took a turn for the worse.

We are the last SEC school without a GM. We have the least number of support staff in the league and have one of the cheapest coaches salaries to boot. Somehow we are top 20 in revenue but completely lacking in the commitment to the money sport.

Arkansas is a small state that has less money to spend than the rest of the competition in the SEC.

It just makes it worse when you have dumb and weak leadership.

Hopefully the strategy is to look for an upgrade behind the scenes and if an upgrade we like says they would take the job then we make the move. Lashlee, Campbell, Gundy perhaps.

I mean the AD outright said that Arky NiL is behind Ole Miss, and would require tens of thousands of fan paying their phone bill's worth of money to catch up to them let alone the big dogs in the conference.

With Texas on the schedule again season ticket will sell though. So Arky has a hard floor and a hard ceiling.

Given that its probably right to find success elsewhere.

He was offered a retirement package.

Still think there’s a chance he takes it.
