Our two goal line interceptions are perceived as gifts apparently. Doesn't matter that we were in the right place to get the interception. Doesn't matter if we were getting pressure on the QB and throwing out coverages that confuse him.

Also, to be fair, we tried to "gift" them a pick six but they didn't want it I guess.

Just wondering where the line is? Were they easy interceptions? Yes. But so was the one we tried to give UNC. We executed and made the plays and won the game. Gotta give credit where it's due right? Before the game all we heard about was how great this offense was and that they return 10 starters on offense.

It was a sloppy win, but a win is a win. We have plenty to work on, but I think we played much better after the first couple of drives. Good luck to the rest of the teams this weekend.

Not all but those sure were. Someone needs to check Williams' bank and phone records.

The 2nd INT was thrown straight to the USCe safety and there was no UNC player within 10 yards of him. If that isn't a gift, I don't know what it.

He made a nice read on the ball, the QB didn't see him.

Good position by Diggs.

of course some are, not all obviously. Making a play on teh ball or forcing a fumble, obviously the defense is causing those plays.

One of hte picks yall had last night I think it was in the 2nd quarter when the UNC receiver ran a slant but the QB thought he was running a hitch, I mean he threw it straight directly to your DB. That's a gift. He didn't have to do anything but catch the ball.

I heard the US Military has contacted Skai Moore to ask him about his cloaking abilities.

To be fair, that last interception the UNC QB threw the ball straight to a Cocks defender with no UNC player in the vicinity.

Sure, the UNC QB made a huge mistake.

But I'd certainly view that particular interception as a gift because it was as if the UNC player thought in his head that the Cocks player was in fact a UNC player.

It was a gift.

The one where he jumped a slant route? That was just a good play.

Skai Moore has a lot of interceptions in his career. He makes those plays.
People are going to see what they want.

If by "nice read" & "good position" you mean he was standing in the middle of the endzone surrounded by USCe players, then sure.

Everyone knows that per the ruling after the 2011 LSU-Oregon game, the SECr considers all incidents of creating turnovers as the team that turns the ball over "giving the game away."

Incidentally, 2011 is also the year that the SECr decided that fake punts by defensive linemen were flukey and should be ignored when determining how close a game was. We know it now as the Sore Bulldog Fan-Ingram postulate.
