Tua little brother is now playing at Thompson HS which isnt far from Tuscaloosa. The HS coach did a interview confirming the move today. I wonder how many Hawaiian familys could afford to quit their jobs and move the whole family to a rich little town in middle Alabama about a hour from Tuscaloosa? jus sayin

Moving "up" from Hawaii to Tuscaloosa. I'm thinking that you've really stumbled on to something here.

I'll bet that special FBI task force investigating Alabama football corruption for the LSU folks would be interested in this!

For what you pay for a 2 bedroom home in Hawaii you could get a mansion in Tuscaloosa.

And also go to the biggest powerhouse in CFB.
And also move your other son closer to going to said powerhouse.

Were you at Thompson when y'alls thug arse douche HC knew y'all had no chance in the game so he ordered y'alls thug arse players to start a brawl, and in the midst while Rush Propst was acting like an actual leader and good coach by attempting to break up the fight, y'alls thug arse douche HC attempted to attack Rush Propst? But Propst is a real man and knocked that bitch on his arse. I don't remember if y'all got y'alls arse beat worse in the brawl or on the scoreboard? Pretty sure we dismantled y'all that night.

You seem angry.
This doesn't sound even remotely like anything I ever encountered while there.

That said, I'm not sure Rush Propst is some kind of figure one should elevate. He's pretty much a stain on Alabama HS athletics.

Hoover's DC that night would have been Jeremy Pruitt.

Ah. Pruitt is only 3 years older than me, so no. I would not have been at whatever the heck you're talking about.

The cost of living isn't the shady part. How many of you and all your family members could afford to quit your jobs move to the mainland and buy a house and all new things? That takes a whole lot of money sitting in the bank.

I don't have a family, but I could easily do that right now. One of their parents' new job could have helped with relocation as well. They are free to use any money they saved up for college. I don't think it's all that difficult.

But I'll also go on record and say that I don't care if they got help from one of our boosters.

If I was Tua I wouldn't want my family to pack up and move over 1000 miles away just to watch me play football for a couple of years.

Man, don't bring that noise to a "Bammer is only good because they cheat" party.

I love how everyone has inside info on the dirt that Bama does, yet none of the other coaches in the SEC are willing to turn Bama in, or no other rabid fan is willing to provide actual "proof" to a media outlet to force the NCAAs hand or, at least, get negative national attention on a given program.

It's mostly people trading rumors with no facts, but just claiming things and talking in absolutes. If it was as people say, someone would have found enough to turn in proof (this is the same as Cam and AU situation...no proof, didn't happen)

I'm sure his brother will probably play for a team in the south as well. They are looking at being here for at least 6 years.

But that's you. Maybe his family was tired of Hawaii and wanted a different scene for 5-10 years? Maybe they're loaded. How do we know?

Maybe they actually like certain parts of Alabama. I dunno, neither do you.

It's shady, but Ben Simmons' family moved from Australia to BR for a year, so it's not that uncommon. Hell, you read sometimes that a player's mom is living in the dorm room with him. It happens, just like getting a new Dodge Charger when you show up on campus.

I am sure the family moved and was able to find better employment than was available in Hawaii and with a lower cost of living. Since his job is in the state, it is very likely that he is working for folks that pull for Alabama.

This has been going on in this state for a long long time.

The NCAA will not get involved in parents getting jobs or promotions, just the kids.

Actually I've heard that Mr. Tagovailoa is renting his Hawaii home out on a long term basis to the University of Alabama for the school to have living quarters for officials of the school who happen to be in the area on business.

Just tell us he's your dad. That's the only logical explanation for your constant white knighting for the guy.
