Alabama isn't a hard enough school if Smith can graduate in 3 years. sounds like an entering freshman in high school could just enter Alabama instead and graduate in 3 years and be a 17 year old Graduate of the university of Alabama.

Agreed. Hard to justify a 3 year degree while being a full time college football player.

Gene Stallings didn't leave A&M for Bama. We fired him for his performance and he coached in the NFL between the jobs.

1 day is plenty of time, even though he had at least 4. He could have gathered his belongings any day he wanted to.

it's not like Nick stepped over him passed out on the practice field or anything.

I mean they were just trying to make him a better person by cleaning his locker out in a timely fashion.

Time management is part of the process, Nick was just looking out for the young man's future

It's not difficult to graduate from any school in 3 years. Take full load each semester + a class or two each summer and you've earned enough credit hours to graduate early. A kid who applies themselves and works hard can do it. Mo Smith by all appearances has been a hard worker and he's kept himself out of trouble and he contributed to the team as well.

I don't know why his momma said he'd be more "comfortable" at UGA after 3 years at Bama playing on one of the defenses in the country?

You are one hard headed, stupid bastard! What part of the statement below do you not understand?

The process actually began on June 13, according to the letter, when Smith initially requested a “permission to contact” from Alabama’s compliance department.“I was immediately contacted by UA coaching assistants and advised I would no longer be able to “work-out” with the team,” Smith wrote.

This is the same coach who stepped on a player having a heart attack on the Dolphin locker room floor. Probably wiped his feet on the poor guy.

Saban is evil incarnate, and I weep for the poor children that have to play for him.

Wonder if Robinson & Hootie would have been treated this harshly if the Monroe D.A. had decided to prosecute? Oh, right. Saban believes in second chances. That sounds so nice. Throwing a player's personal stuff in the trash...not so nice.

Hey, at least RB10 isn't chasing every little detail of the Cam & Hootie drugs 'n guns arrest.

When you have to take this approach...you've lost.

I actually understand that he didn't formerly request his transfer until the 16th. A "Permission to contact" form is not an official transfer request.

Clearly, someone with your level of intellect knew that already though, right?

Now what the frick would that tell a person with normal intelligence?

You are correct - he can choose from over 100 D1 schools. He actually should try that route now because he will not be suiting up in a UGA uniform in a month.

Bet the next time he quits on a team he cleans out his locker and goes thru the chow line before he tells the coach...

In a way, UGA's scheme would be more comfortable to him now than Alabama's. He's never played for Jeremy Pruitt.
