Then you need to get a grip. So when is a coaches main concern whether or not opposing fans respect him. Was this a serious response?

I don't give a shite what Nick Saban thinks about me. I do care that he is hiding behind a lie. He's chicken shite and a douchebag.

Obviously you will use the no huddle at end of game situations. It is about time management. Thought we were discussing exclusively no huddle shite.

Nope Klarvin, I just don't remeber games 8 years ago which I don't have anything invested in. I am sure you remember older Bro win the title though.

To vent my frustrations with Nick Saban and Bret Bilieianioma.

It's carries less ramifications than beating my wife.

Laughing at Everyone getting so upset at a coach lobbying for his team. I am not arguing he is correct or incorrect, but he is doing what hes paid to do. It is easier to sub in an adjust for packages at a slower pace.

I'm sorry you cant remember that far back, maybe instead of 13 you're 83?

Please don't take your lack of football knowledge/memory out on the rest of us though.

Bama ran it in non-2 minute situations. It's just comes off as bitching unsurprisingly. Although if he gets the league to look at it more power to him. Still sort of a bitch move though regardless

It is one thing to lobby for your team on the field. He is trying to change the rules.

Of course, do you think he gets paid millions to stand on the sideline looking taller?

Urbans teams at Florida weren't exclusively no huddle, not by a wide margin. That will change coming this season. If you care to read

LINK

Discusses the development of of urbs offense.

There is a difference between spread and the type of fast paced offense that doesn't allow your team to sub for entire drives.

Posted by Message labamafan Slow offenses vs fast offenses I realize this thread is intended to flame but everyone understands this is about being able.to substitute packages in according to the offensive package on the field. Both coaches are doing exactly what they are paid to do and that is look for every strategic advantage possible. Why are y'all crying g about him crying, nothing will change.

We totally get the strategy behind his complaint. What we are really complaining about is him hiding behind the bullshite excuse of player safety. It's cowardly.

Saban can express his opinion, just trying put the team in the best position to win. I prefer the traditional offense though.

It seems that the teams that run this have a harder time playing D than others IMO. Though that may simply be due to the best players all going to the offensive side of the ball.

They just want to make subs without making a timeout, you know, like football has been played for a hundred years, right?

Yeah, and let's get rid of the forward pass while we are at it. You know, for tradition's sake.

Thank you!

Damn, it's like trying to argue with a bunch of turtles. Obviously, Alabama fans are stubborn as shite to the core.

What you fail to understand is that the offense is not subbing either. Its not a matter of player safety. It's a matter of conditioning. Why should it be the offense's fault that the defensive players are all fat and can only play 2-3 consecutive snaps? Recruit faster, more athletic defensive linemen.

I don't really see the argument there It has to do with not being able to sub for players. During "long drives pounding the ball to control clock" subs can be made after every play.

It's about subbing for strategy's sake, not safety's sake. If a player is hurt or tired he can be easily subbed. This is more like "oh shite they subbed another receiver in and we don't have our nickel package in."

It still comes off as bush league when he brands it as player safety
