I believe part of the reason for the current setup is to get the teams use to the "neutral arena" the NCAA uses for the championships.

As for baseball, in addition to the RV parking where do you get parking for fans at any city with a downtown stadium? Just looking at the website for Nashville's stadium it flat out states that many parking lots it uses for parking are unavailable until 5:30pm.

Here are my well thought out recommendations.
Sec championship football - tuscaloosa every year except every 5th year plays in troy..just to piss off lsu
Sec basketball tourney - tuscaloosa every year except louisville every fifth year. Cats fans can drive their tractors there en masse.
Sec baseball tourney - tuscaloosa every year, except 5th year is in auburn. Can align it with the twice a decade auburn is good in football for a rootin’ tootin’ year of sports on the plains

The dallas metro is a shithole. No thank you.

I am in no way defending the Dallas Metroplex from an aesthetics or cultural perspective, but the riverwalk is the only thing in San Antonio worth a look and it is nothing more than an open sewer surrounded by average at best bars and restaurants.

Frankly, Texas as a vacation destination is as bleak and boring as it gets.

Leave football the way it is. Though I'm not sure I understand how Atlanta is the capital of college football.
For basketball, I like your idea, but maybe add in Memphis as well.
For baseball, I would say either Memphis every year, or 3 year rotation with Hoover and Metairie. Zephyr Field is 10,000 according to Wiki, plus an easy Uber ride downtown. Would be fine with adding Gwinnett to the rotation for the Eastern schools.

Center of the SEC, College Football Hall of Fame, SEC Championship, Playoff Rotation, Playoff Championship game, diversity of rabid CFB fanbases, recruiting, distance from CFB powers (Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, etc) etc

I don't think there is really another city that could make the argument outside of maybe Dallas

Jackson, MS, that's a funny joke
Football-Jackson St Stadium
Basketball-little tiny coliseum seats 3000
Baseball-Trustmark Park also seats about 3000
NOPE
