Absolutely... I would go around my grandmother's pecan tree and gather them up and present them to her to make me a pie.

To the OP's point, he maybe small, but he is fast. Do not need height (or weight) if you can just outrun them.

A sensitive group this morning. Just passing along information.
And we're simply marveling at how someone that small went on to become (arguably) the greatest receiver in the history of the Southeastern Conference. If not the greatest, certainly the most accomplished.

Pretty astonishing that he's only 166 lbs and hasn't had any major injuries. I honestly thought he was around 180 lbs, so I'm pretty surprised by that.
Speed kills though..

Fourth grade for me

I wish my wife didn't weigh 166 lbs.

So a "four"-skin?

Yep, it is pretty much a basketball game now.
Tiny WR’s have never had success in the NFL

Sometimes smaller guys are able to avoid major hits and are flexible enough to avoid injuries.
I remember Chris Johnson from the Titans a few years back crediting his lack of major leg injuries to the fact that hits usually took him off his feet leading to less hits on a weight bearing leg.

Gotta be the strongest 166lb human ever to live. Had no trouble against elite d1 dbs 35lbs heavier than him

I don’t see why this is such a big deal when half or more of Tom Brady’s rings were with an entire WR corp of guys no bigger than Devonta Smith. This ain’t early 2000s NFL anymore. He can’t get ripped in half by linebackers and safeties over the middle and CBs can’t lay a hand on a receiver anymore past 5 yards from the LOS.
At worst Smitty is a damn solid 2WR in the NFL imo.

I don’t disagree with that

All that tells me is several teams will pass on him and he'll fall a little to a much better team and benefit.

Will get jammed at the line in the NFL.

Is Devonta the smallest ever Heisman winner?
