If you've watched both teams play, it's pretty clear that Oregon is a better team. Besides, Stanford just got a huge loss with the absence of Ben Gardner (which btw is a very sad thing to see).

I've seen them both and I agree easily. Would just like to see Oregon go undefeated in the PAC until they talk about Bama.

Remember this is the students doing this. Most of the older fan base blushed when they started chanting this.

Is that pic real?

I've seen a bunch of people on the Rant saying how this Oregon team wasn't like the Oregon teams of the past and how much better they were. I watched the entire Oregon/UCLA game and this Oregon team looks exactly like the Oregon of old. They have decent team speed, but their they will get DOMINATED up front by Bama or FSU.

FSU/BAma will be a much better game. I don't see anyone beating Bama this year. They are like a machine right now.

Oregon rolled up 550 yards of offense and held UCLA to less than 300 yards. Exactly how did you see this on the field? Come again?

Johnstone, our OT, was written up in the NFL scouting report for week 9 because of his performance against Barr. Barr beat him once in the first half and then he was neutralized in the second half. Barr is considered the best pass rusher in the game.

Oregon rolled up 300+ rushing yards on a one of the best front sevens in CFB. The 2010 version would've struggled much more against that front seven.

If you go back and watch the Tenn game they really beat themselves. I mean they were emotionally from playing so close to great teams this season. Almost beat UGA. Beat USCe. They just couldn't pull it out against Bama.

HAHA....he said "pull it out against bama" !!!

ps..first post. not too shabby..eh?

I'd believe this. All of the older Oregon fans I spoke to in Glendale were very polite and were excited to be there.

Oh and they also all universally shite talked about how arrogant the Ohio St fans had been at some previous bowl, and how much better Auburn fans were by comparison.

Last time the ESPN/Disney SPONSORED team got into the big show, Nike had to QUICKLY come up with this marketing "brilliance" by lunch time the next day. War Eagle,

Just sayin'

I don't think you can say sec dominance anymore. It's just Alabama. In terms of the natty anyway.

Alabama

Sec

Wat. Bama, FL, LSU. AU Have all won natties, and all but AU multiple ones, in the last decade alone. Hell they had to create a playoff system just to keep an SEC team from winning every year until football dies

There isn't much difference in the top 3 teams. I wouldn't bet the house on any of them losing / winning in a match up. I also think Oregon should be #2 over FSU. I would rather see an Oregon/UA matchup.

I'm not saying that the sec hasn't been dominant as a conference, or isn't, it obviously has and is. I'm just saying that Alabama has established that they are above everybody, and because of that, riding their coattails under the guise of sec conference support seems weak for this season alone. Is the sec the most dominant conference? Without a doubt. Alabama just so happens to be above the sec right now. A win for bama this season will feel like just that, a win for bama...and not really the conference...IMO. But what the frick do I know?

If we get by the next 5 games, we will probably lock horns with the Ducksters in Pasadena...if they or we don't lose. If Stanford beats them it will be us and FSU most likely

I remember last year when ND did not lose a game, they had their Almighty announced defense, etc. Ha ha!!

if they play the sec enough times they are bound to win somewhere along the road. so far, the sec defenses have pretty much shut their "unstoppable" offenses down. oregon is the xbox generations hero's.

This is stupid. Oregon still has to play Stanford and Oregon State, and then UCLA in the title game. If UCLA gets their shite together on offense, Oregon should be very worried.

My parents live in Oregon and I can tell you that Oregon fans are a nuisance. I loathe that program. I hate them more than Ohio State...

I'd give Florida State the edge if they win out. I just think they are more impressive all around. Bama is the best hands down right now. It's not very close at all. They do boast the toughest schedule at the end of the stretch, which does nothing but hurt them honestly. They are already perceived to be the best. They just need to win, but will have to do so against possibly 3 top 10 teams. Ready to be really pissed off...........Ohio State has the best shot still.
