To all the LSU fans on the rant complaining Chambliss is too old to still be in college:
Matt Mauck at the start of the 2003 season: 24 years, 199 days

I was watching some of that weather delayed FSU game yesterday. The punter is 28, and played 2 years of "semi-pro" ball for The Northern Bullants.
He only got paid in Aussie money though so it didn't count.

I’m just saying, if LSU fans are going to post about how a 24 year old QB is an unfair advantage, they need to be consistent

It has nothing to do with his age honestly. It has to do with the NCAA denying his red shirt making him ineligible. He and ole Miss got a home cooked judge to grant him a TRO to play while he awaits his court date. Seems to be that the SEC doesn’t care about that but what to go scorched earth over 2 players that were granted a another year of eligibility

Mauck was not ruled ineligible by the NCAA, Chambliss was.
