Should Bama remain in AP Top 10?

I think so. Hey, if Texas lost and they get to stay in the Top 10, which you know they will, so should Alabama.
Alabama played hard and showed signs of being good if they can just pull everything together. It was the first game of the season and the players deserve a chance to coach themselves into being a better team without being totally knocked out of the Top 10.
If Alabama is removed from the AP Top 10, it will likely be because of anti-Bama bias, as a form of punishment for being so good for so long.
I hope they are just fair to Alabama, that is all I'm asking.

You didn't just lose. You got physically dominated by a team that had a terrible season last year. No, Alabama doesn't even need to sniff the top 25 much less the top 10. There's too many actual good teams that deserve those spots.

bama will wait and see how FSU does the rest of thw season. If they end up a top 10 or top 15 team..... bama will claim it was a good loss.

They were soundly beat by a team that went 2-10 last season. The question should be, “Do they deserve to be ranked in the Top 25,” and the answer is no. They deserve to fall out and prove themselves vs Wisconsin and then Georgia.

I wouldn’t even rank them in the top 25 right now playing like they are. I don’t know if they are one of the 30 or 40 best teams right now.

No, not at all. Bama has a new coach and a new QB and many new players filling positions all over the field. That should be taken into consideration in the rankings.
The AP usually gets it right, so I hope they do this time too. Bama played just as good as Texas and Bama's QB is better than the Texas QB, so, if Texas doesn't drop out neither should Bama.

You've never heard of first game jitters? It happens. A team should not be punished to a point where they have no chance of succeeding based on the first game.

They will stay in top 25 this week but bama is never going to be a top 10 team again. That team is average SEC team at best. It was fun to watch them while they were good. Those days are over. Bama is a bottom feeder now.
