Not necessarily ~ There is a possibility that cash could have made it to a relative of Cecil's and no one, including the NCAA would have investigated the relative's finances/accounts, etc.

There are ways to hide cash money. And, unless Cecil had a PI tailing him and Ms. Cecil everywhere they went and watched every purchase they made for over a year, how would the NCAA know what their spending habits were?

This was based off of the Eligibility Committee which rules off of evidence provided by Auburn. Now, the Infractions Committee is the one investigating and they will make a ruling based off of what they find, not what Auburn gives them. There is a big difference.

I find it difficult to think that Cecil wanted money, was paid and then just sat on the money while nothing was going on for 9 months because he was worried someone might ask questions in the future. However, it is possible Cecil goes in his closet naked every night and jumps in stacks of $100 bills.
