The NCAA hasnt finished looking into it. Is there a link saying the NCAA looked into his spending habits based on evidence that they have found?
THe President of the NCAA stating there was no evidence that Auburn did anything wrong. You remember the reports of the NCAA asking for Cecil's accounts last fall??? You think the NCAA waited a year to then ask for his records?
Auburn was cleared of this crap already, the only hold up is MSU and Alabama fans who do not want this to die in hopes of Auburn losing the trophy.

Spending patterns are analyzed as well, you used to eat at mcdonald's now you eat at a steak house every day. Or your spending habits increase, if you have a lot of cash you are going to spend some more cash. All of this was looked at by the NCAA and nothing was found. Either he got the cash and burried it in his yard or never got it.
Not necessarily ~ There is a possibility that cash could have made it to a relative of Cecil's and no one, including the NCAA would have investigated the relative's finances/accounts, etc.
There are ways to hide cash money. And, unless Cecil had a PI tailing him and Ms. Cecil everywhere they went and watched every purchase they made for over a year, how would the NCAA know what their spending habits were?

It could be. The Bunker is writting stories for Clay and Scarbo.

Are we going to have to rehash this again?

FWIW, who's to say Cecil doesn't have $200k cash sitting in a bag in his closet?
I don't think anyone really cares if the money has been spent or not and what it's been spent on. All people care about is did he get paid or not.

They'll refuse to hear it.

Way to sidetrack this shite Ranger.

Apparently you didn't hear Sheridan's interview at media days. According to his "sources" Miss. State isn't even part of the investigation.

I don't think he would have been dumb enough to put it in the bank. Like I said pay with cash. Buy a dress, a new Auburn hat, things he may have charged or not bought before.
But I give him the benefit of the doubt.

However, it is possible Cecil goes in his closet naked every night and jumps in stacks of $100 bills.
FWIW, who's to say Cecil doesn't have $200k cash sitting in a bag in his closet?

Why would he have left money in his closet between January '10 and November '10?

MSU disassociates a booster, one booster says an assistant coach is involved in pay for play talks, MSU is the initial one to report this and yet they are an after thought?? yeah that makes sense.

So, your position is that AU is not being investigated and MSU is in the crosshairs?

Newton is the most investigated player in the history of the NCAA to my knowledge. There hasn't been a single stone left unturned.
