Did he really say that?
Seriously. He went on Finebaum and insinuating the NCAA was knocking on the door of blowing Auburn out of the water, and now it's 50/50 if Auburn even did anything wrong?

Anybody want to give a recap?
Legend wanted to bet Sheridan a grand that Bama beats LSU. Sheridan asked for the line Legend would give and Legend said Bama a 3 point fav. Sheridan said he would not take that bet because Bama will be a 7 point fav but would take those odds at 3 to 1 money. Legend changed topics.

Using secret witnesses. Not giving the institution information to defend themselves or self investigate. That's pretty huge. And I know you don't care and don't follow. And that validates my point. Nobody cared. Nobody will if they do what they need to to nail Auburn either.
So they didn't have any evidence on the other two recruits either?

He said that less than a minute before I posted it.

What by-law did they break? How?
A lot of their case was based on testimony by a secret witness. There was a by-law at the time(may still be in the by-laws) that they could not use a secret witness in investigations.

Listen more. 50/50 that is can be proven. Sheridan seems to have little doubt Cam was paid but is not sure if the NCAA can get someone to sing.

So they know who did it.
They know how much it was.
But they can't prove it?

Fantasy always makes for a good read.

start a new thread. This one is about a nationally respected sports figure saying Auburn situation could be more dire than thought by Aubies.

So, apparently, it isn't news to anyone on this board that the NCAA is looking for a 3rd party/bagman between the Newton's and a buyer? Because that's news to me.
It's news to me.
I've honestly thought that MSU would get the brunt of the punishment because of three of their former players being involved talking P4P for Cam.
Now, it makes sense when John Bond said he wouldn't discuss the Newton situation, that he felt sure MSU was going to be fine, and in the end it would all come out in the open.
Where the hell are the TAPES?

Kind of like the BOL fed ex rumor, it changed and changed

Sheridan is a little queef bubble, just like the rest of Bama Nation, that is swearing up and down that we are going to die to the hands of the ncaa.

Everyone but Aubies know they are dirty but my question is when did Danny fricking Sheridan become the NCAA spokesman?
GMAFB
can't we turn this back to how well LSU complience monitors itself?

So, Sheridan is saying that there is an NCAA investigation going on as to whether Auburn paid Cam?? Wow. This news is out of left field. It is a huge shock. I have never heard any of this before today!!!
