no - its ingenious to do so at that venue, but who knows - ive said all along - we have a 50/50 shot of being either - and it really hasn't changed much at all.
its gotten to the point that week in and week out, something is said and accepted as gospel - and i find it laughable.

I do find it interesting that you can't get a media figure to come out and say the NCAA is looking at a wealthy AU booster as the bagman.. Kind of curious that a bama alum, sports handicapper is the only one that puts specifics out there.

Agreed. However, until a week ago, the NCAA didn't confirm that it was still under investigation and you didn't have someone with the track record and stature of Sheridan coming forward with a statement that bold and saying it came directly from a source in the NCAA.

Seriously. IF they really did pay, then they need to pay a price. Perhaps a BIG price. But, I'll not dance or be happy about it. Whatever was done did NOT give Cam an unfair advantage. He and AU whipped all of our asses on the field last season.

Again, I am all about justice. IF fault is proven, hammer away. But, the "happiness" seems a bit uncalled for.

Apparently this is a direct quote from Sheridan on FB: "They're trying to get a third person, allegedly the bag man, to step forward, and if he steps forward, it'll be a bad situation. But I don't know that he will step forward. I don't know if they have any evidence. I don't want you to misquote me."
If he doesn't know if they have any evidence, then he doesn't even know if Cam was paid.

No, I would look at who is saying what and how thick the smoke is. As a fan, I've seen enough to know when something is close to coming down on the program. If Sheridan said that about Bama, I, as a fan would be very uneasy and certainly not saying he's a hack. There are some things you can dismiss easily.. such as the Jerrell Harris packet, as being nutcase accusations. There are other things, such as NCAA investigations and reputable analysts with established contacts saying they know a specific allegation.
