Sheridan is pretty well respected. He's got contacts. He's been an analyst for about 3 decades and doesn't have a habit of making statements that bite him, especially something like this.

Actually, Sheridan made that point earlier in the broadcast. Said it wasn't Chizik's fault, but that he in effect stirred the hornet's nest.
