If this has been discussed sorry. Searched and didn't see it. But I'm shocked. Not that I was a huge Matthews fan but he was never a terrible person or someone known for trouble.
I apologize some idiot on the radio said he received 40 years. This article says 3 months.

Well I know people aren't physically hurt but losing your money and you can't get it back is difficult to recover from. People lose their homes and their lives are destroyed.

It sounds like Matthews only played a bit part. The real culprit was Grow.

Damn... Shane was my first college football player's whose signature i got. He was dating my 3rd grade teacher's daughter aka his wife today. Thought he was coaching football at nease (tebow's fake hs)?

Matthews also cohosts a radio show with Brady Ackerman in Gainesville. Sorry I missed the show today to see if he was still on.
