This is a really weird thing for y'all to keep bringing up considering you eventually lost the game in question in humiliating fashion. Might want to think about just letting it go.

All of you who still harp on this look so stupid all these years later for two simple reasons:
A.) we fricking lost the game.
B.) we have since then beat them twice and have won a national title.

Has Baton Rouge gotten anything more than a few hours of rain from any of these storms? Haven’t most hit SWLA? I guess I don’t see the reasoning behind beating your chest for this. Mississippi, Alabama, Texas, and Florida have all been hit this hurricane season too

To be fair, 5 of them were before football season, so it wasn’t an issue for LSU’s football schedule.

Uh, the LSU campus was used as a medical triage in the days after Cat 4 Katrina.
Then Cat 5 Rita hit SW La 2 weeks later and LSU decided to move their game with Tennessee to the following Monday night - paying Tennessee's travel and hotel expenses - even though there were traffic and emergency vehicle and lights issues....

Losing the game has nothing to do with the point.
Florida could have beaten us three times that season or ten in a row.
It doesn’t change what they did.
I had no idea there were so many girly girls in the SEC.
Embarrassing.
So the girly list consists of:
1) florida
2) miss state
who else should be added?
I know Auburn and Bama and Arkansas would never pull a girly move like that.
Hell, I don’t think Georgia would do that.
