F**K Bama!
Thanks for taking the time to read it. Any questions? I'll be here for a bit longer and would be glad to assist you with any help I can provide.

You need to throw this in like a cherry on top of this thread

Meh.
We have the most official wire titles (10 - next closest 8, ND), and the most SEC titles (24 - next closest 13, Tennessee).
We're the best, we have nothing to prove, and I see no reason to create posts justifying our greatness when it should be apparent to anyone with basic math skills.

I see you are conditioned by the posters on this board, possibly others, to be ashamed to mention the NC's we claim from the 20's, etc...
You can only defend the 10 because you are weak and afraid of ridicule.
Do you realize that many other teams also claim NC's from the 20's and 30's? You don't have to be ashamed or scared that you will be called a Gump or Stupid Bammer.
Due to a weak personality and fear of ridicule, you say that an Alabama fan has no need to ever mention anything, ever, about the history of the Tide because, well, we are the best.
In the face of never-ending attempts to shame, belittle, and downgrade Alabama and it's fans, by posters here who make that their online job, you say to cower in the corner and maybe we won't be noticed.
I say, no matter how good this team has been, no matter the record, no matter the fame, it still deserves true Alabama fans that will set the record straight.
You be a mouse if you like, I'll play it my way.

I know this guy is trying to ruffle a LOT of feathers, but in all honesty,he makes some good points.
Alabama's Wayne Achison (sp?) brought this on themselves with the proclamation of being 1941 champions. Had he left that alone in 1988 and said "we have 10 now" instead of 11, IMO 90% of the rhetoric defending and announcing these titles would have never materialized.

Son, I think you are the one in need of employment.
And that is about all the time I have to devote to your insecure babbling today.

so so true.
Having one outrageous claim makes you work 20 times harder to erase doubt about the other claims. Next thing you know, Ole Miss fans will be claiming they have three national championships.

So now that they're in the midst of a 2-year drought, is Saban on the hot seat in Tuscaloosa?

Sorry about the severe attack of Little Dick Syndrome.
Unfortunately for you, Bammer does not have 15 championships. Not matter how many times you repeat the lie.

The auNecks remain Alabama's little brother.
Of that there can be no doubt.

I never said Alabama did have 15 NC's. You know what, it's almost like you didn't read the original post, and I know you did.
Now go back and reread it for me and then come back and apologize to the board for misleading them and then tell me what I said about '41.
Regardless, I've decided to sub '66 for '41, so Alabama really does still have '15 NC's.

Shouldn't he be? Who in the hell wants a loser for a coach or one who can't finish a simple sentence without hopelessly mangling it.

quote:there is a set criteria, before the season for making the ncaa basketball tournament. Thats the difference. Thats why the ncaa will crown a basketball champ.
oes this mean that the NCAA men's basketball tournament winner isn't the national champion? Plenty of teams are voted into that.

#6.) 1964. The AP & UPI, the two big dogs, chose Alabama plus a couple of other selectors. To hell with Arkansas or anyone else. Sure, the AP gave out their trophy before bowl games; that is the way it was. Who is Alabama to tell the AP that what they were doing was wrong? They were just a humble football team doing it's best. ('Bama 10-1)

Who cares, it was just a bowl game. The main thing is that Alabama has both the AP and UPI trophies behind glass.
What does Arkansas have to show for the season?
