I just think we all better get used to the college athletes we cheer for possibly playing for a rival school the very next year.

College football is changing. I don't know how it all turns out, but I think we are in for some really wild times.

Agreed.

We’ll all have to cheer for our schools and not necessarily just the players who happen to be wearing our jerseys. Maybe this will encourage folks to support all athletes and not malign kids at other programs? The target of your abuse at Rival U may be starting for your university next fall .

Got to the no crazy happy feet part about Max..

Think you may want to reassess that. Max routinely either panics immediately or steps into the pressure often killing drives. He has no pocket awareness.

Edit: his footwork is also terrible. Weak back foot throws are common.

Assured backup? Dude has 35 touchdowns to 7 interception and 4k yards in his career. I guarantee he is A&M starter.

OP, here’s your answer!! Add the fact that his brother was the #1 TE it was a win, win for A&M!

I’m a fan of college football so I enjoy watching all of the SEC teams play.
I remember watching LSU this year and thinking your QB was pretty good .
Glad he decided to transfer to A&M we need a good QB with experience and he sure fits the bill!!
It should be a great battle for the QB spot in the spring and summer!

No, we feel bad for the dumpster fire your team has become since firing O and completely screwing up the next hire. Way to go, Scotty.

So what’s it say about aTm when you lose to a dumpster fire….YOU STUPID MORON!

Other than probably a few random comments, I don’t recall any Aggies bitching about Johnson. As compared to the trashing he took from LSU fans on their own site starting last year.

Weigman play in a very sophisticated passing attack in HS and will be relatively polished by freshmen standards. He’s also immediately the most elusive QB on the roster.

There’s a decent chance he starts next season.

The guy that played against A&M was better than the guy that played every game of the season to that point. I have no idea if we pushed Calzada out the door or if he left for his own reasons, but getting a guy that is at least as good if not better than the guy we lost is a solid move. SEC experience is a bonus.

Aggies think Johnson is replacing Calzada, they don't understand that he's actually replacing Haynes King.
