It’ll take awhile for 6&6 to make it back.

And yet they will still beat 8&4feit.

Myles Brennan coming back with a serious wide receiver group will be dangerous next year. It’ll all depend on defense

OL will determine LSUs season in my opinion.

Ok? He is Les Miles without the grass eating or the national title. And in a few years you will hate him just like Miles and Coach O.

We could not win anything for the next 25 years and still have a more impressive trophy case than Aggy.

They are struggling right now

Well, they already know they are better than aggie so that's one win.

As long as they can bring in the Louisiana talent and others they have been getting they'll be just fine.

aggie is the one struggling with absolutely no good excuse for it. Hard to figure why they would come on this board and subject themselves to more humiliation than they have already gone through.

But how many aggies does it take to screw in a light bulb?

The answer is three, one to hold the bulb, two to turn the chair.

The last five seasons ND has played 9-10 P5 opponents on the regular. Definitely not a single FCS game on their schedule like a lot of the P5 schools do.

That oh so great '20 season against an all SEC schedule was still the weakest schedule of ALL the SEC teams. They were lucky enough to play more bottom feeders than any other SEC team. Over half the aggie wins were against teams that finished with SEVEN or more losses.

With the portal, you can be very good very quickly and very bad very quickly.

Kelly is an actual coach.

When did this happen? When he took the LSU job? Six months ago Notre Dame was a joke and Brian Kelly only had a decent record was because of his weak schedule. At least according to 98% of the posters on this site.

I'm not saying he is a bad coach. But you guys are unreal. As soon as someone puts on the LSU colors they suddenly become the best.
I'll take a stab at this...

I think Kelly will instill professionalism and a serious attitude to the program. First time we've had a coach like that since Saban, although early Miles did it awhile.

You can mock Notre Dame as overrated, and still acknowledge they had a good coach. They didn't win championships because they don't have the raw talent a good SEC program does nowadays. LSU will have talent, it's not a matter of needing an ace recruiter to bring it in. Like UGA in that regard.

I see 8 or so wins next year, a jump to 10 the following, and serious contention the next.

Saban was known, but Michigan State wasn't going to win titles. Come to LSU, won fairly quickly. Les Miles- nobody knew who he was. Won a title, got in another game. Bunch of 10+ win seasons. Orgeron, everyone knew him, and it wasn't for anything good. Won a title.

Kelly isn't Saban, but isn't that far off either. We'll see how he does with a talent advantage in almost every game, instead of facing it most big games.

However many games we lose we can always count 8&4 as W for us
Can we please start referring to them as Tex 8 $ 4.

Another 8 $ 4 poster with nothing else to do at 2:13pm than start a Troll Thread about LSU.

All the 8 $ 4 posters are out of control; they seem compulsively obsessed with LSU in all their waking hours. (Sybil had 16 separate and distinct personalities)

2-3 years. The first year will be a transition but Kelly has a history of making a good jump in year 2 and year 3.

let’s go with 27 -24 instead of 6-6, it just seems more accurate or even 9-2

No one was saying this after they won their titles. Funny how it changes after you fired them.
Well this is absolute bull sh1t.

Many hated the O hire, knew he caught lightning in a bottle, and couldn't wait for him to crash and burn.

Many hated Les since the 05 Tennessee game and considered him the luckiest sumbish on the planet.
