Would like to have both, but in the long run, the SECC is just a stepping stone to the crystal. The crystal is what the main goal is and we have it. So I am content

I'm just ribbing ya. Yall had a great season, and an SEC title is ideal, but crystal is better. LSU fans should be extremely proud of their accomplishments this season.

I didnt watch the game because i was ensured by about 90% of the super intelligent LSU posters on Rant that there was no way whatsoever that Alabama could beat this LSU team which was the greatest of all time. 9-6!

LSU went 13-0 and deserved The SEC Title.....but last Monday night is more meanigful

After two months of hearing Rantards pump up the Dome and how unbeatable LSU would be in it. I couldn't care less that we watched the SECCG on TV instead of live.
Not to mention the complete failure of Clay Travis and many others that guaranteed a split title should the unthinkable happen.
That being said 13-1 won't bother you at all if you can go 14-0 next year.

Winning the SEC to me as a Bama fan is at the top of the list,and here is why.
1.Just being in Atlanta means you have won your division(which now is the toughest in CFB).
2.Winning the SEC means you are the KING of the most competetive league in all of CFB.
In '09 beating Florida was far more satisfying that beating Texas.Why? Because is was a much tougher task.Being the best is your goal,LSU was the best,and will always be known as SEC champion.
I like our little trophy as well.

Would have been nice to have. It's a huge accomplishment. But the way it worked out, I wouldn't change a thing. I had 12-15 friends / lsu fans tailgate with us in Tuscaloosa. I was happy for them, but still pissed. But nothing is sweeter than that superdome win.

Personally, I WANT that SEC title. We need one this decade to keep the streak going. (only team to win one in each and every decade)
However, it is nice to have a built-in motivating factor for next year. CNS has already been talking about it.

sucked. Until we got in the BCS NC and won it. Now, it'd be nice to have won it, but the NC cures all ills.
