Honest question. Does it make you mad knowing that no matter how good you're sports teams are they'll always be at best 2nd best in their conference?

It comes off as little league. Even some of your own fans don't like it.

Given that LSU athletics is self-funded and self-sufficient, it doesn't bother me. There are ads all over the scoreboards at Tiger Stadium, ads have been on major, minor, and college outfield walls for decades, and a few logos on the hard court aren't going to bother anyone too bad.

In fact, I hadn't given it a second thought until your thread, which is itself pretty "little league."

Sponsors on court is little league but naming the entire arena after a donor isn't. Got it.

Making an obsevation is little league?

I asked a question, I got many differing answers. Lsu fans seemed to be both for it, against it, or could care less. I was curious. I had never noticed the Cox Communications stamp on the floor. Granted, LSU basketball hasn't warranted much tv time in a while.

It doesn't bother me that our arena is Bud Walton Arena.

It would bother me if there were advertising on the court. It pisses me off that we play in Little Rock. It pisses me off even more now that there are two AT&T stamps on that field now.

Funny thing is it doesn't bother me so much that I've never noticed it different from other courts. But thanks for pointing it out

have a point but I just think it would look tons better with just a solid purple wall with some gold trim.

And you too. Now I'm hating the ads on the fence

I agree that it would be nice if they were to go easier on the ads for Alex Box, but otherwise, the ads at our other facilities really aren't an eye sore.

I am far more bothered that our basketball programs play in that spaceship, but that is another topic.

By the way, I will also say that i wish our administration would have the same vision the Arkansas AD has with Baum. That stadium is a masterpiece.

I like our grandstand better, but that's literally it.

Do You mind your arena being named for a donor (Walmarks)?

Wal-Mart was founded by Sam Walton. Bud Walton is a different person.

It says "Bud Walton Arena".
