I have never noticed before, but I see these two huge "Cox" stamps on your court.

The outfield wall of Box is littered with stamps as well.

So my question is, does it bother you? Does your athletic dept need money that bad?

Most basketball arenas have signage on the court. It doesn't bother me at all.

Well quite a few do. Most may not have been an accurate word to use.

I will say that The Box would look better without all the ads on the wall. Southern Miss has ads. LSU is above it.

Why take note? We don't need ads on our court.

It doesn't bother me as bad as it bothers Arkansas fans that they don't have an SEC championship in football.

No one needs them. We are taking advantage of a money making opportunity. Are there ads on your scoreboard? On the scorers table?

Of course, but nothing that diminishes the integrity of the Bud floor.

I am just curious why an SEC money making machine, such as LSU has so many ads on their facilities.

Is there anything on the football field?

I don't really care for it - our AD is one of the few, and the only one in the SEC if I'm not mistaken, that turns a profit - so I don't think it's b/c we're hurting for money

Of course it is. War Memorial needs money so bad they let AT&T sponsor their field and it has ads on it.

LSU athletics takes no subsidies or taxes from the state of Louisiana. So, yes. Instead of taxing the population for this, they take out ads.
