Go cheap on the hiring of the new coach, and let all the star players go.

It makes sense. If Saban couldn’t win with this roster then no one can. So why even try?

Give the decline 3 years and rebuild for the next future GOAT.

DaBore is going to need a few years to clean up the mess left by Saban. He needs to get his coaches and players in the building.

Their new coach seems to be going cheap at the hair transplant salon

When your top 5 choices turn you down, you might as well save a buck and make it look intentional.

What was coach DeBoer's buyout at Washington? What is his salary at BAMA? You should google more.

Hard to answer that until bama's AD gets around to processing all those transfer requests

Hopefully it had a HIMS clause in there

It's funny to watch fans of teams whose head coach's have less accomplishments as head coach than Kalen DeBoer (and he's only been HC for 4 seasons) try to talk smack about the hire. Only on the rant

Much like the previous 17 years, whatever it is, it isn't enough.

Who was your first pick?
Coach O?
Mack Brown?
Gene Chizik?
Phil Fulmer?

They want a Bama dumpster fire so incredibly bad. They crave it. So since this transition is going pretty swimmingly all things considered, they are creating an alternate fantasy land in their heads on here where Bama is in bad shape.

Get used to it. It’s been an eternity since Bama has had an offseason with any level of uncertainty at all. This is what it feels like. New coaches, roster turnover, media criticism. Welcome to the real world again.

ETA. And for the record, I think the guy is a good hire. Is it a great hire? We will find out soon.
