Seems the Mannings have some common sense after all.

Sark hasn’t helped with his development at all.LK would have done wonders with him.

I have zero "inside information", but my guess is the Manning's haven't been happy with Arch's development under Sark. Granted, Arch has some responsibility in that as well, because Mac Jones under Sark had an historic year and praised what Sark did for him. But it is possible Arch and Sark simply weren't a good fit. I suspect he transfers regardless if Sark is there or not after the season. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if he didn't end up at Ole Miss.

Great coaches schemes usually play too the QBs talents.Arch has looked uncomfortable going on 3 seasons.Sark is playing his offense in spite of Arch’s talent.

It's also possible that Arch simply isn't a great QB and only has the accolades he does because of his last name.

That's pretty spot on.
I'm sure development is approached differently per team....but the boy has three quarterbacks at his disposal....grandpa, and two super bowl uncles.

Just like everyone who actually saw him play in high school predicted during his recruitment. Maybe there was a reason he didn't attend a single camp his senior year.

The rumor is that they were interested in seeing him under Will Stein's tutelage (according to Matt Jones) but UK fans wouldn't want Manning over Kenny Minchey.

I don't think he's trash. I still think he is a D-1 level talent. I just don't think he's developed at the pace he should have. Certainly, he takes some of that responsibility but I don't think he shoulders all the blame either. Sark has to own some of that as well.

I'm not sure that is 100% accurate.

LK does a good job getting the most out of a QB and making his offenses suit them.

The same Coach Sark who made 2 straight Final Fours the 2 seasons before Arch became the starter there.

Correct, but let's be honest, Ewers wasn't performing like Patrick Mahomes either. He had his shortcomings that Sark couldn't get out of him. But, overall, I think Sark is a very good QB coach. Again, it may just have been a bad fit. We have to let it play out and see. If Arch transfers and lights it up, then there's your answer. If he transfers and stays the same or gets worse, then there ya go.

Yeah it is the exact opposite.

The ONLY way Arch transfers is if Sark is forced out at the end of the year.

A ton of people have no idea how the Mannings operate even though we have 30+ years of evidence.

He was never planning to come out early. He has no desire at all to transfer.

Carry on.

I wonder what Arch would look like if thrown on a team with less talent than Texas and just average talent for the conference they are in. The real good college QBs can make a difference in those teams.

Arch just isn't that talented. Coming out of high school a whole bunch of people around LA high school football were saying if his name wasn't Manning he'd have been rates a 3 or low 4 star. He had 2200 total yards as a junior and less than 2400 as a senior and was rated as the #1 overall player and is tied as the No. 1 quarterback recruit of the modern era.

Contrast that with Peyton Houston, LSU's QB of the future who had more total yards as a junior than manning did his last 2 years in high school combined and he's the 8th ranked QB in 247's composite

I don't think Arch would look nearly as bad if he weren't throwing the ball to the other team or fumbling the ball to the other team.

If he doesn't turn the ball over against Oklahome they win that game same thing with Florida.

If Arch was just turnover free in those two games Texas is undefeated.
