UG still has an overall talent advantage but the gap among starters isn't that great. UG is in more a rebuild this year than UF so I like the Gators chances.

UF definitely has the easier schedule and just like last year it's gonna come down to who wins Jacksonville.

There never has been a preseason / pregame in which uflmatt didn’t like floridas chances.

Lack of spring practice for UGA definitely concerning with all the new parts on offense, but can it be any worse than last season? Their defense could actually be better

Very good point, although the O played reasonably well against Florida.

Fair.

new Oline, new RB

The OL returns Trey Hill, Ben Cleveland, Jamaree Salyer, and Justin Shaffer, all of whom have started multiple games and played a lot of snaps. There is going to be a drop off at Tackle but likely not as severe as some would like to believe.

At RB, White and Cook have both been on campus for 3 years now and played Plenty of snaps in backup roles while waiting their turn. Again, going to be a drop off from Swift and Herrien but not that severe.

I agree. Florida has very good team, but the Georgia Team is something else.

Newman should add another element.

Mullen and Grantham do get the most out of their rosters though. As long as UGA's offense is better than last year I don't see them losing to UF.

Mullen can't even get his players to wear the right arm bands on game day. Worst Game Day coaching blunder I have seen in all my days.

Yep that was probably their best game against a decent team. Fromm made some clutch throws

Always played good against the Gators although he missed a easy TD pass last year.1st against UF and AU was probably our 2 best halfs of the year for the offense. We were also pretty healthy at the WR position...made a big difference in the offense.

What have we been wondering about in the desert?

Also, we won a playoff game. I guess Auburn needs to make the playoffs before they can win one.

UGA hasn't gotten spring practice to install their completely new offense.

Good and fair point.

New QB, new OC, new Oline, new RB.

The Oline and Rb are not new. They didn't start last year but all played a lot, and just about all were 5* coming out of high school. But there are a lot of new moving pieces to contend with, no doubt.

So I highly doubt we regress suddenly, especially with a returning QB who proved himself last year.
I don't think Florida will regress....at all. I really like Trask. he is a good, solid QB. He just seems like a "Lunch pail" kind of guy. Shows up for work and does a good job day in and day out.

Georgia will wind up having two losses to Florida's one. Even if Georgia beats Florida, they would miss out on Atlanta and the playoffs.

The Gators added 3 former 5*s to their roster who will contribute this year and make Florida a contender.

RB Lorenzo Lingard
WR Justin Shorter
DL/LB Brenton Cox

For every quality player Florida have UGA has that X3. Dawgs Oline(and Kirby) is what seperates them from Florida and the rest of the East and make them a top 5 team.

The Bama on the schedule might be the difference-maker. 55/45 Georgia odds imo.
