It's Wednesday and I still can't get over that lopsided Auburn/LSU score. SEC Shorts can try to justify it, but reality is LSU is headed for a losing season. Has not happened since the 1960's.

I agree with that, but OSU did beat bama in the CFP with their 3rd stringer a few years ago. IJS.

The player acquisition and retention needs to be better. Had 2 transfers come in, one is hurt, one opted out, and the former 5 star is now quarterbacking the Buckeyes.

Obvious now that Bama is in a class itself this season. UGA is tier 2. And everyone else is after. Tell me I am wrong.

I agree with the recap that UGA needs better QB play to beat Bama. Would the game have been closer or even a win for UGA if Newman did not opt out?

This is true. I think LSU is reeling worse though. A&M is better than Missouri and that is obvious.

LSU has also recruited better and that D is way behind. Also don't have a running game. What is the O/U in that game though?

Expect Jimbo to try to keep possessions to a minimum, but Mond to make some costly mistakes as the game moves forward. Bama appears to be the clear cut best team this season.

I thought UGA would be great, but now they have no QB. Auburn's rushing offense better improve, but this game could be an upset.

Interesting. LSU and Florida definitely know secondary talent so I am guessing the kid is pretty darn good.
