Auburn's time at the #1 spot of the Power Rankings was short lived after a lackluster performance against Kansas State...such is life. How about that MSU @ LSU game? Looks like tGrind might be legit this year. No huge changes this week besides MSU rising and LSU & Mizzou plummeting.

Semo and I would like to thank the Football Power Rankings Committee who created all this. It'd be impossible to do this without them. We'd also like to thank Week 3's randomly selected Guest Voters: DrunkenStuporMan & 870Hog. We had 30+ Guest Votes submitted this week, so thanks Ranters.

FPV - First Place Votes
APS - Average Points Scored
APA - Average Points Allowed

Week 4 Power Rankings (Text Version)
1. Alabama
2. Texas A&M
3. Auburn
4. Mississippi State
5. Ole Miss
6. Georgia
7. South Carolina
8. LSU
9. Arkansas
10. Florida
11. Missouri
12. Tennessee
13. Kentucky
14. Vanderbilt

And the graph...

looks good to me.

I can make an argument for the top 3 teams to be 1. It's that close. LSU would have been there too had they won.

Aggies are so close, but I'm glad they are still at 2. A #1 spot in the SEC Rant Power Rankings would get to their head.

Swap Vandy and Scar and looks good. Scar sucks and is 2-1 vs top 25 teams and also is the only team to play 3 conference games so far and void of any cupcakes.

So true, so true. As soon as Auburn got the #1 ranking, they played uninspired. Hell, Mizzou was on the cusp of a top7 slot then they shite the bed.

The top of the SECRant Power Rankings is treacherous territory

Good work as usual

Eye candy but at least it looks like some separation especially with 3 east vs east games this weekend. Gators may be happy to have the bye this week.

Group A = Alabama, Texas A&M, and Auburn
Group B = State, Ole Miss, UGA, USC, LSU, and Hogs
Group C = Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt

I honestly cant make a single legitimate argument for Auburn over MSU if all we're basing these ranking son is what teams have done this year.

Still some very strange individual highs and lows, but overall pretty solid.

Going into the wizards house is no picnic
Playing LSU @ LSU at night is no picnic either.
