State is the only team that can challenge South Carolina. They had a double digit lead on them in Columbia before losing by 2 late.
But State dropped a game to Alabama a couple weeks ago. MSU is a Sweet 16 team this year, maybe Elite 8 - very young so they will be back, but a third straight SECT title probably isn't happening.
SC is the best team the nation.

I've watched Arkansas play a little bit this year. They're pretty good but it's hard to get excited because there's zero parity in women's cbb. It's really the biggest issue for the sport and that's saying quite a bit. Arkansas is a top 15-25 type team and they have a 0.0% chance of winning the SEC tournament. It's just wayyyy too top heavy.

Almost every poster on this site rips every sport they suck at. Many of the same people take the time to tell us how great their softball team is or how their such and such team are Sec champs. Lets face it, we all love our schools and want to be the best in every sport possible and that’s a damn fact.

To be honest, I was still so numb and jaded from the Braves shitting the bed in Game 5 of the NLDS that I didn't even care about the loss to SCAR.
At the end of the day, that game meant very little, because LSU stomped the shite out of UGA in a game that actually mattered, and prevented UGA from going to the CFP.

You're right, but I was certain last year would be different.
The outfield fly rule game cemented my hate of the Cardinals, which made last year sting so much.

WBB is definitely hard to watch I'll agree with that. But let's not act like men's college basketball is some great product either. It's just as hard to watch sometimes.

State can't even challenge Kentucky. They aren't challenging SC. They're competing with the likes of LSU, Auburn, and Alabama atm
