I know it doesn’t typically pan out, but the SEC has a legit shot of sending 6 teams to Omaha

1. UCLA vs 16. West Virginia a likely Super that unless Kentucky pulls off a complete miracle should for sure not be SEC.

I like Arkansas to beat Kansas and take on #2 Georgia Tech in the ATL Super. Arky would be a long shot but should give GT a good series.

Other than that, the SEC should be favored in most of the others.

The chances of #5 UNC getting past Tennessee in a Regional and then likely Texas A&M in a Super Regional is probably less than 50%.

Bama against FSU is a coin flip.

Florida has a great shot as I think Jax St could be their match in the Gainesville Super.

Texas should handle Oregon.

I think the last two will be all-SEC Super’s…. Ole Miss at Auburn and Miss St at Georgia.

they definitely seeded the teams differently this year.. more chances for more SEC teams to make Omaha, but there’s also more parity across the sport, so it could go the other way

If the SEC is as good as we think.. 4-6 is possible

If it’s not..

I know nothing about Oregon and I know Texas cooled off a lot down the stretch, but we do play better in Austin,

The regional scares me more than the Super Regional. We are better built to win a series imo

We have to save Volantis for UCSB as their ace is supposed to be really good, but if we lose that game, we’re in deep shite.

Not even going there until the regional. After last season can you blame me?

I also think OSU is winning the Oregon regional.

They definitely didn’t have limiting SEC teams in Omaha as a priority this year. With our injury questions, I don’t mind the 12 seed for A&M, and wouldn’t be surprised at all to see us hosting Tennessee in a super.

My early Omaha projection

1. UCLA (beating #16 W Virginia)
2. Georgia Tech (beating Arkansas)
3. Georgia (beating #14 Miss St)
4. Auburn (beating Ole Miss)
6. Texas (beating #11 Oregon)
8. Florida (beating Jax St)
10. Florida St (beating #7 Alabama)
12. Texas A&M (beating #5 UNC)

That would be a stacked CWS. Maybe the most talent ever. We are seeing the restructuring of the MLB minor leagues paying off.

Wait. You’re telling me that the major colleges located in the same states as the powerhouse high schools and youth programs…are good?

Colored me shock. It should go without saying. You don’t get 8k college baseball attendance in Ohio.
