I would pick the same 4 as the OP, but the Fightin' Freshwaters are a wildcard to me. Going all in for a one year shot at glory either works or fails spectacularly...we shall see. Depending on how much the B1G and Big 12 cannibalizes themselves the SEC could have 5 teams. Not sure who I'd guess the 5th team will be, but I know it won't be Gata, aggy, Vandy, piggy, cowbell or SCar. I'd probably go with either LSU or Mizzery, maybe BlowU.

I think Missouri has a shot too.
Auburn vs Mizzou in mid October could be a sneaky big game. Schedules up to that point:
Auburn:
Alabama A&M
Cal
New Mexico
Arkansas
Oklahoma
@ Georgia
OFF WEEK
Missouri:
Murray St
Buffalo
Boston College
Vanderbilt
OFF WEEK
@ Texas A&M
@ UMass (WTF?!?)
If Auburn can get past Oklahoma at home, we have a strong chance to be 5-1. If Missouri can win on the road at Texas A&M, they should be 6-0.
Could be a Top 10 Mizzou and a Top 20 Auburn at that point. Winner would have an excellent chance of making the Playoff.

Would love to pick then for the playoff, and they'll always be in the conversation, but we lost the Heisman winner, and until the defense shows a pulse next season, I'm not putting them in. Ask again after the USC game.

If we are using historical rankings as an indicator, then yes multiple 9-3 teams will be in the playoffs. With the Gators’ schedule in particular, they will be the top ranked 3-loss team.

Right now I'd put bama, UGA, and Texas as likely based on rosters and schedule. Then there's a big group of Auburn, Mizzou, OU, Tenn, Ole Miss, LSU, and Kentucky in wouldn't surprise me.

Georgia doesn’t make it…they actually have to play a schedule next year.
Since the CFP rankings started, Georgia has never been out of the top nine.
So, now that the TV revenue crap has raised its ugly head and is in full force do you actually think that Georgia will dip below the 12th slot?

I'd be willing to bet that a 9-3 Notre Dame would likely get the 12th slot simply due to their NBC contract.
ESPN made it perfectly clear this season that revenue trumps any other factor or consideration.

Yep. ND will be in every year going forward. It’s going to get real next year when like bottom 8-15 teams have similar records. Think how many teams will react like FSU this year for those final spots. Hell even those that get in will be bitching about the seed. After effects of announcements will be discussed well after the champion is decided.

I think Bama, UGa, Texas, and Ole miss.
Our schedule is just too rough next year. Especially with the flux on our o line.
