Why would LSU be actually worse than they were last year with a lame duck coaching staff and like 50 scholarship players most of the season?

I'm not saying they'll go to the playoff but that they should at least be 8-4ish territory.

I have almost the same. Toughest choices were between Arky and Ole Miss.(I went with the Arky rushing attack). I put Aggie over State but Leach is usually good for an upset or two in a season, so who knows?

Why would Ole Miss, MSU, Arkansas should be worst or same as LSU? LSU and Kelly have ways to go. Kelly hasn't coach in the SEC, yet you think he will go 8-4 or 9-3 or 10-2.

Yeah, we don’t know how good Arkansas will be until we see how good our key replacements are. We could be much better. But with new guys/losing productivity and our schedule, I’m being cautious and not expecting too much until I’ve seen us play someone with a pulse.

The thing about these predictions is anyone below Bama is one or two injuries or suspensions away from losing more games. Depth is big in the west and most teams are vulnerable.

Though I think your opinion of us is optimistic, it’s as good a guess as any.

LSU has a far higher ceiling to improve than a State, Ole Miss, or Arkansas just due to the talent on the roster.

Also, none of those teams played 2021 with a coaching staff who didn't know what they were doing.

Star totals aside, are they worth a shite?

Bama has proven theirs are, no one else has.

Cincinnati will have a pulse. At least before the game starts. Arkansas is going to run all over that bunch. I believe you ride that win to victories in the next three, lose the next three and win the last five after the bye.

Draft Kings Over / Under Wins Odds

LSU, 7 Wins: Over = +100 Under -120

Yikes

ETA: 6 wins wouldn’t even make them “worse”. That’s how many they had last year
