You will have a first year coach taking over a depleted program that was mismanaged for 2 years. I have no doubt there will be a year 2 jump for CBK, I know he is a good coach. But picking a bad year for LSU in 2022, is being realistic, not "tripping".

LOL!

Only way it doesn't happen is if Auburn loses two in row to PSU and Mizzou.

I don’t see any evidence to suggest they’ll be worse this year than last.

They return almost their entire OL - 120 starts amongst the group. They averaged 4.7 YPC last year, and only gave up 23 sacks all year. And that’s from a group who was and will be largely considered their weak link on offense. They have a QB who was inconsistent but did whatever he wanted versus Bama. Tank Bigsby returns. The only question mark is WR.

On defense, they’ve got a potential first rounder in Derick Hall on the edge, former 5 star Owen Pappoe who is ultra talented, and they also got a big arse DL transfer from Oregon. Their defense only allowed 8 rushing TDs last year. The question mark is their secondary - and that’s a big question mark.

Either way - based on what I posted above alone, there is no chance they finish dead last in the division.

2-7 is a toss-up. I do feel like Auburn and Miss St will be near the bottom (which probably means Auburn will win the SEC).

I'll go:

1. Alabama
2. Texas A&M
3. Ole Miss
4. Arkansas
5. LSU
6. Mississippi State
7. Auburn

That's a complete shot in the dark other than Alabama though.

1. Arkansas 12-0
2. Bama 11-1
3. LSU 9-3
4. Ole Miss 9-3
5. ATM 7-5
6. Miss St. 7-5
7. Auburn 6-6

The stars are lining up folks, Saban is so pissed at Jumbo he forgets all about Arkansas and Sam makes him pay. Saban just throws his hands up, smiles and says congratulations Sam you earned it. Then he goes out and hangs 60 on Jumbo.

Bama at the top.

Auburn at the bottom.

Everything else is entirely up in the air. And don't count out an Auburn surprise, too. This is the most parity I've seen in the West since 2011.

Alabama 12-0

12-0 seems unrealistic. There are more than a few trouble spots and the Iron Bowl it seems can always go anyway regardless of records.

The Ole Miss road game coming in Nov on the heels of Bama playing LSU with Kiffin having 2 weeks to prep is about as trap a game as there may be for Bama this year.

Can't wait for the season to get here. Lots of talent and good coaching across the SEC.

yep...

I see my Hogs having 8 wins...

LSU Fans, C'mon now. Yes, Boogieing Bryan is a good coach but a new SEC coach. Yes, you will out talent many teams, but again that talent will take some time to Gel with Boogieing Bryan.

You truly don't believe you will be playoff worthy now do ya? or even a NY6 bowl? give the boogie a bit more time...

I feel like 8-4 is realistic for LSU

Then which team will it be dead last in the division? MSU? LSU? Texas A&M? Ole Miss? How about Alabama?

Arkansas always loves to talk shite, but they would give up their first born to have the last decade of football A&M or Mizzou have had

Meh, we have other sports to look forward to. Giving up a first born for mediocrity is stupid.

Speaking of 9-3, that’s considered a GOAT season at Ole Miss. YIKES!
