Well, truth be told... I NEVER bet on week 1 games and hardly bet any games at all. I only put money on games that are terrible lines and never on Ole Miss.

This is really just a fun discussion because we have some lines out now.

Smart - in the same mindset, I see Clemson covering and a 20-10 type UGA win.

I wouldn't bet this game. 31.5 points is too many points, especially for a new coach in week 1.

Agreed

Agreed

LSU -6.5 VS USC
Wouldn't touch this one. LSU is usually pretty bad in week 1 under Kelly

Notre Dame @ Texas A&M -2.5
If the line was even, I would go with A&M but even just 2.5 points seems too much in this game either way.

Colorado State @ Texas -35
Agreed

Yeah, week 1 is when the moths fly out of the clothing.

Don't blame you, especially with our "unknowns" on the offensive end.

Lincoln Riley’s offense against LSU’s defense? Last year USC scored the following in their first five games: 56, 66, 56, 42, 48. What could go wrong?

It's just as likely UGA puts a beat down FSU style on Clemson. But to the betting angle, two touchdowns is about right.

Considering he has had a rebuild job at LSU winning 10 games both years
is pretty damned good. In both the openers he was up against a very
experienced team,Fla.St ,with their coach being in his 3 rd year of a rebuild.
BK took over a team that had 38 scholorship players in a bowl game.Last
season Fla .St was an undefeated team with tons of experience and LSU
was still in the building process who lost alot of Defensive starters from
the previous year. People hate BK for some reason but I can guarantee
you he is building a Nick Saban type program.Hes not there yet but if you
look at his recruiting success its only a matter of time.GET READY SEC!!!

Colorado State is not Colorado School of Mines. Texas won’t cover 35.

Didn’t USC lose their stud QB? I like LSU. Would like it better if it was -3.5 or so.
